The dataset for this Power BI demonstration comes from a real hotel’s property management system (PMS) SQL database. Each row represents a hotel booking and includes bookings that effectively arrived and bookings that were canceled. All identifying data elements pertaining to the hotel or customer have been removed.
The Agents page shows the average daily rate (ADR) by month in the first table. The other two tables show lifetime bookings and ADR, and top sales months for both sales agents and companies (travel agencies).
The Repeat Guest page has a toggle switch that affects all charts on the page.
The Cancellations page also has a toggle switch. The reserved room types are only represented by letters to protect the anonymity of the hotel.
